Buell_Cru: B1078,
Before you go to the trouble of replacing them wipe the forks clean where the residue is and slide a very thin plastic card or a business card or something of that nature into the seem of the seal and slide it around as you remove the card to try and wipe any dust or dirt out that is trapped in the seal. Sometimes on my dirtbike I will think the seal is blown and it is a tiny grain or dirt keeping the seal from working properly.

3. - nitto12ss: Painting the side rails ? Post Date: Wed, 19 Nov 2008 23:07:31 -0700
JOEL9: i'm pretty sure the side rails don't come powder coated but are painted. i just had mine powder coated black by a friend who owns a powder coating busniess, i did no prep work just took em' off and had them done. if you have a powder place near by you should see how much they charge(usual lot charge is about $50 to 70 bucks). the powder is super durable. as for paint, a light sand w/ 80-100 grit sand paper and a good wipe down with a tack cloth should be fine, good luck!

Odin: Kajer-that's what i love about the riding position. i'm tired of laying down, or even leaning mostly forward, however you look at it, like i was for years on most jap bikes. I want the bike to look kickass, but not be uncomfortable riding it. and I guess for me (but not everyone else) leaning over/forward is uncomfortable

blackxb12r: i am unclear on whether you need just the duc caliber or caliber and rotor. if all you need is the caliber count me in as well, that looks awesome, nice winter mod. thesjolanders@hot.rr.com
